Morten Christoffersen
Morten B. Christoffersen is originally from Denmark. He moved to the United States in 1997. Morten completed a Law Degree from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Upon arriving in the U.S., he obtained a Master’s Degree in International Law and Business and a Juris Doctor Degree from Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida.
Morten has practiced in family law for about 10 years, handling everything from divorces, child support and paternity cases to domestic violence and parent’s rights. Experience has taught him to appreciate that divorce and other matters related to family law extends deeper and wider than just litigation. Divorce affects the whole person and his/her family as does paternity issues, child custody and matters related to child support.
Morten is also experienced in contract disputes, business litigation and contract reviews.
In his free time, Morten enjoys spending quality time with his son. Morten is also an avid runner and sailor who competed at two Olympic Games, representing Denmark in windsurfing in Barcelona in 1992 and in Atlanta in 1996. When time permits, Morten still goes windsurfing or paddle boarding.
